77th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics

Salt Lake City, Utah - November 24, 2024 — November 26, 2024

The 2024 Gallery is open for submissions.

About

The Gallery of Fluid Motion is intended to be a visual record of the aesthetic and science of contemporary fluid mechanics, to be shared both with fellow researchers and the general public. Each year, the submissions are judged for their combination of striking visual qualities and scientific interest and the top-ranked video and poster entries are designated as Milton Van Dyke Awardees or Gallery Winners, which are subsequently published in APS' journal Physical Review Fluids. The Gallery is intended to be a venue to showcase new images and work. If selected for publication as a Gallery winner, it is expected that normal copyright practices will be followed (either APS will be granted copyright of the images that can be reused by the author in other publications with appropriate attribution of original work, or if published in another journal prior to winning Gallery articles, the authors will secure similar authorization prior to being accepted for publication in the Gallery).

Please note that the Gallery of Fluid Motion is not a venue for technical posters (which can be submitted through the normal abstract submission), nor student posters.
