Oscillatory viscous flows are common in physiological and microfluidic systems. We demonstrate that slow planar flows can exhibit enhanced fluid stirring via chaotic advection driven by asymmetric oscillation. Through experiments and simulations in a bifurcating T-section network, we identify transitions between open streamlines and Moffatt eddies that activate stretch-and-fold mechanisms central to Lagrangian chaos.
