Blood flow simulation inside the zebrafish vasculature was conducted using dissipative particle dynamics(DPD). The 3D stacked images of zebrafish were taken by confocal microscopy. Then, the vasculature was reconstructed in the computational domain. The red blood cells (RBCs) are modeled explicitly, and the fluid-structure interactions among RBCs, plasma, the vessel wall, and nanoparticles (blue) are taken into account. The figure shows a visualization from inside the vasculature.
