P007: Coup de Boule: Head-Butting Jets

We perform direct numerical simulation of two colliding turbulent jets-Coup de Boule (Head-Butting Jets)-using the multiphase solver Code Blue. The head-on impact generates toroidal vortices, stretching, and entrainment zones, fully resolving turbulent scales. Visualisations reveal intense acceleration and mixing near the core, offering insight into turbulence, jet mixing, and propulsion flows.
