The transition of emptying behavior (e.g., emptying time, bubble size, glug period, etc.) from 'soft' bottles to 'rigid' bottles is captured visually using video recorded at 120 fps. Using an easy-to-adapt experimental setup, involving clamping of bottle components, the top of a bottle (fixed diameter, height, and outlet) can be adjusted using soft rubber and rigid plastic sheets. Side-by-side display of recordings and still images, along with some quantitative data involving glug period and soft top deflection dynamics are provided.
