A microbubble resting on a flat substrate is subjected to an ultrasound pulse. The ultrasound pulse induces shape deformations which foster repeated jets against the surface, at unexpectedly low ultrasound pressures. We uncover the underlying dynamics, and present a few scenarios illustrating the jetting mechanism.
