To better understand needle-free injections we shoot into pendant droplets. As skin is a complex material and it is opaque the role of the jet piercing it is uncertain. However, when shooting at pendant droplets, as they are transparent, we can observe all the dynamics in detail. Furthermore, droplet liquid properties can be carefully controlled, thus helping us unraveling this complex phenomena.
