Drop breakup and vaporization are fundamental to applications such as fuel injection. We conduct direct numerical simulations of the aerodynamic breakup and vaporization of a drop in a high-temperature environment at various Weber numbers: We=19, 38, 57, and 77. The rate of vaporization is found to be significantly enhanced by droplet deformation and breakup.
