P0037: Shattered to pieces: cracks in drying drops

The drying of particle suspensions often leads to the formation of intricate patterns, from the rings deposited by drops of coffee to the mud cracks in soils. In this poster, we demonstrate a graphic way of visualizing the dynamics of drying for millimeter-sized drops of a suspension of polystyrene nanoparticles in water.
