A Kelvin-Helmholtz instability is computed using an Implicit Large Eddy Simulation (ILES) approach. The high-fidelity model allows to show the fundamental essence of turbulence. A photorealistic render of the density iso-surfaces, vortical structures (Q-criterion) and streamlines is presented.
