Using the technique reported in Borrero-Echeverry et al (Phys. Fluids 2018) to obtain a rheoscopic fluid from shaving cream, we obtained spectacular visualizations of the different regimes of rapidly rotating Rayleigh-Bénard convection (RBC) for extreme parameters (Rayleigh number up to 3.3e12 and Ekman number down to 5e-8) as well as onset of convection and non-rotating RBC.
