I am a candle artist and a media artist. Until now, I have been working on building a connection between candle flames and digital media.
Once in my atelier, when the searchlight of my smartphone shed to the flame of the candle,
haze was projected to the white wall. So I tried to shoot this haze. I also tried other LED lights, but the light of the smartphone was just right.
I only prepared candles and smartphones for this work. Currently, there are more than 2 billion smartphone users in the world. Thus, if people around the world use their candles and smartphones, they can easily enjoy the show of fluid movement. A night spent surrounded by candles and smartphones, with your family, lovers and friends, can be a wonderful experience.
