The movie shows a top view of moist thermal convection above a horizontal fluid layer of a gas mixture close to criticality. The mixture consists of 85.5% sulfurhexafluoride  and 14.5 Helium and is at a pressure of 54bar, a mean temperature of 46C and a vertical Temperature   of 0.5C The convection cell has the dimension 6.5x6.5x2.1 cm$^3$ and is half filled with condensed liquid (99% SF$_6$).  The cell is illuminated from above and a mirror reflects the light back from the bottom plate.  The movie shows the dynamics of droplets condensing on the top plate and that of the clouds just above the liquid.
