The video shows the contour plot of temerature, and vorticity after a part of the air column of a Rijke tube is heated by a step-like heat source at L/4 from the inlet, and the gas is left to evolve by itself. Here L is the length of the domain. During the evolution of the flow-field, spectacular vorticity contour is observed.
